What a perfect pairing with Missions Sunday and the end of the gospels, where the disciples are sent off to proclaim the good news as Jesus ascends to His rightful place at the Father's right hand. I'm excited to follow the early missionary journeys as I reflect on modern missions and my calling as a follower of Christ. Just when my title for today’s post was going to be Lift High the Cross!
