Church membership is a way of identifying oneself with a local body of believers. It is a simple way of saying, “l am a Christian and I believe this church is a good church.” It is in the local church that one can hear biblical doctrine preached, fellowship with other like-minded believers, and use his gifts to serve.
The membership process can begin with a chat with the pastor during one of our monthly get-togethers (Coffee with the Pastors). If interested, the next step might be to attend a Discover NCC session. Reading through the membership materials and finally filling out the application for membership.
A follow-up meeting with two of the elders gives all parties an opportunity to learn more about each other. Upon their recommendation, you would be presented to the congregation during one of the Sunday services. If you have not been baptized, you might want to consider doing so at this time.
