New Covenant Church Naperville Care Chicago Outreach

The people of New Covenant Church in Naperville came through in a big way! We collected nearly sixty care packages for Englewood Family Outreach on Saturday, May 16! A big thank you to all who donated, wrote notes, baked cookies, packed boxes, prayed, and otherwise supported this effort. It was a tangible expression of Christ’s love for our neighbors on Chicago’s South Side.

The care packages provided a range of Covid-19 supplies (hand sanitizer, TP, disinfectant wipes, paper towels, etc.), food (mac and cheese, peanut butter and jelly), spiritual support (Bibles and hand-written notes of encouragement), and other items. EFO’s Daniel Bair delivered all the boxes, to the delight of many Chicago families. EFO seeks to restore communities by proclaiming Christ, training in godliness, and empowering the vulnerable. May He bless and encourage them (and us) in the days ahead.

New Covenant Church will be looking for more opportunities to make a difference among our neighbors amid the pandemic. As always, we invite your ideas and appreciate your support.
